These Dressy Sneakers Can Be Seen on Both the Treadmill and the Runway This Season
Within the past year, sneakers ( which we normally wear to be comfortable in our workouts or run some quick errands ) made their way out of the gym and onto the runway. These versatile shoes have become the perfect item to pair with a suit or a formal dress as the fashionable replacement to dress shoes and heels at a level of comfort yet high fashion . Many prestigious runway designers Like Alexander Wang debuted their dressy sneaker lines in the spring 2020 runway shows. Check out how Alexander Wang, and celebrities, transformed sneakers into high fashion staples !
Wang seemed to be a fan of the sneakers as formal wear on the cat walk in New York ( and even Pete Davidson made an appearance at his One Show!)
The Saturday night Comedian worked it on the runway in reflective patent sneakers. The formal sneaker was accompanied with leather denim hybrid pants with one of the pant legs in white and the other in black .The pants were also held up by a white belt with Alexander Wang printed across it. Talk about fancy footwork !
Other models could be seen wearing similar sneakers to Davidson’s ( hers was in a gold- like reflect) with a plastic like material . This model was in a fitted white shirt , silk shorts and a long fur scarf adding to the chicness of the outfit .
Furthermore , at Sacai’s Spring , models could be seen wearing other black patent sneaker shoes with a pair of slouchy trousers and slightly embellished cape jacket .
Many other celebrities have incorporated the formal sneaker style into their daily lives. For example, the K-Pop band BTS are always incorporating this look into their outfit ensembles. While performing on “The Voice” one of the band members Suga sported black Dior Sneakers while the other ,members wore dad shoes and suits.
Even supermodel Kendall Jenner also likes to match formalwear with a pair of sneakers. She just recently wore a brown leather suit trouser outfit with a matching trench coat with white sneakers .
Will you boss babes try this sneaker formal wear look this year ?
