Editor's Picks: Summer Wedding Guest Edit

Aside from all the beach days, rooftop drinking and mingling, and cozy nights on your deck, summer is also “wedding season”! So many of our friends and family members choose Summer as their wedding date, and we definitely don’t blame them! But, with so many weddings to attend in the summer, you must have that closet of yours stacked and ready with bomb pieces to strut in! When selecting summer wedding outfits, you’ll want to make sure there are certain details in the cut of the dress you wear. This is the season for ruffles. I don’t mean toddler ruffles. I mean sexy, minimal, flirty ruffles. They provide a romantic and swift appeal to your look, which is ideal for summer lovin’! Secondly, you’ll want to select a dress or jumpsuit with light fabrics, such as chiffon, rayon mix, or even linen if it’s a daytime wedding. Next up, what colors can you and can you not wear? Here’s the beauty of it, summer is open to all colors! If you’re interested in dark colors, make sure to accent it with a pop of bright color. That will tie up the whole look into a summer friendly one.

Lastly, have fun putting your looks together! With so many fun colors and prints you can wear during this season, you’ll be wanting to go to weddings every single week up until Labor Day. (If you haven’t put “crash a wedding” on your bucket list, this is the season to do it! :) )
