Collabs We Love: Cole Haan x Rodarte: Femininity Meets Classic Comfort

What better to kick off the season with a fashion match made in heaven collaboration? Independent luxury house, Rodarte and classic shoe brand, Cole Haan have come together to design one of the most stunning capsule collections this season. With spikes, lace and bright colorways, the capsule collection came just in time for the holiday shopping. The limited edition collection includes Cole Haan’s ‘Grand Ambition’ silhouettes while incorporating Rodarte’s signature lace, florals and bright hues. Not only does the collaboration consist of shoes, but a few style of croc-embossed handbags too!

If you want a good classic heel that won’t kill your feet by the end of the night, Cole Haan is the way to go. The shoe brand has been around since the 1920s and specializes in both men and women’s footwear and accessories. Not only are their shoes known for their durability, but they also have great value when it comes to price points. Now when you add the two sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy from Rodarte into the mix, you’ve got yourself something special. The sisters say, “The ethos of Cole Haan speaks to everything that we do . . . trying to think outside the box to create something new and create a dream that you take people into.” And that is exactly what this collection showcases. Nothing but pumps, booties, satchels, circle bags and many more with pops of red, bubblegum pink, optic white and different shades of black.

This capsule collection was designed for extraordinary and confident women. With Cole Haan’s engineering and Rodarte’s high fashion femininity, the collection makes for a bold and beautiful  collaboration. If you want functionality and style all in one, this is the perfect blend. Pushing boundaries and creating something innovation in the landscape of fashion, both brands have worked so hard on this collaboration and I can’t wait to start shopping!
