Wear High End Designers, And Eat Them Too - Restaurants by the Designers That Rule The Fashion World

Now, more than ever, fashion designers across the globe are using new ways to expand their brands by immersing their customers into their world stilettos first. Taking a cue from their successful luxury shops, many designers have delved into the restaurant industry, seeking a similar level of success. The best new spots are the ones where you’ll be able to wear, wine & dine your favorite designer all in one sitting.

Bar Luce by Prada - Milan, Italy

This restaurant is actually a collaboration between the Italian Design House, Prada and Wes Anderson. Anderson, a directorial representation of visual OCD, created Bar Luce with an obvious, relaxed aesthetic in mind — retro pinball machines line the walls, while funky, authentic decor tattoo all areas visible to the naked eye. This cute little spot serves coffees, cold beverages, pastries and gelatins. And maybe a new clutch if you get chummy enough with the bartender.  Although a restaurant, it really speaks to Prada lovers with its polished appearance that screams, movie set waiting to be discovered.

Thomas’ Cafe by Burberry - London, England

Burberry: A picturesque brand that perfectly illicits a visual of a chic Kate Moss type sipping tea in the middle of Kensington. It’s sleek and sophisticated, with a hint of “doesn’t it look like I have my shit together?” Thomas’ Cafe portrays just this, an adorable eatery that is the perfect spot for an afternoon pow wow with friends over tea and pastries. Remaining true to the brands roots, Thomas’ offers classic British dishes, seasonal mains, and desserts updated on a weekly basis.

Ralph’s Coffee by Ralph Lauren - New York City

Ralph’s Coffee is much more than just a quick place to grab a drink in between floors of silk ties and riding crops. The restaurant, located on the second floor of his Flagship 5th avenue location, is categorized as a diner/cafe/bookstore for Ralph fans who cannot decide their favorite pathway of leisure. The All-American, haute spot is ideal for any polo lover who wishes the Kentucky Derby was every weekend.

Gold by Dolce & Gabbana - Milan, Italy

This shining new spot is, unsurprisingly, flooding with celebrities. TBD whether its the amazing menu of Sicilian favorites or, the restaurants sparkling gold interior that screams “I’m obviously more than fab than you.” Either way, this restaurant is undeniably an expansion of the brands s high class messiness that versace embodies. This is definitely a must stop for your next trip to Milan, Ciao!

Emporio Armani Caffe by Giorgio Armani - Bologna, Cannes, Dubai, Milan, Munich, Paris, Tokyo

Giorgio Armani is no amateur when it comes to the restaurant game. With a notable number of Armani owned restaurants and bars around the world, this glamorous Cafe is located in THE land of luxury, Dubai. The vast menu is anything but short of Italian dishes, paying tribute to the designer’s roots. After a long day of roaming the sands of the desert, Emporio’s is the perfect luxury oasis.

1921 Gucci by Gucci - Shanghai, China

This, very exclusive, restaurant is the brands first dip into the restaurant industry. But being Gucci, they succeeded and then some. 1921 Gucci is located on the fourth level of Shanghai’s Luxury Mall. However, don’t expect to walk in there like beyonce and get seated with ease. The only way into this restaurant is through a private elevator, no less, starting in the Gucci store. The restaurant is just as exclusive as the brand itself.

Cafe Dior by Christian Dior - Seoul, South Korea

Dior Cafe, is a social media lovers dream — which is almost reason enough to go. From its Instagram worthy dishes to the tres chic interors, you will be stoked at all the new grid content created from a quick espresso outing. Here’s a tip: order a latte even if you don’t drink it, just so you have proof that it happened.

Vogue Cafe by Vogue

While not technically a designer, Vogue is the mecca of the fashion world. Known for trailblazing the way to new opportunities and trends in the luxury industry, it’s no surprise that this iconic fashion label would open up an equally iconic restaurant spot in Moscow, Russia. Ok, we don’t really stan for the location… but, we trust that the eastern bloc will be in style five years from now. Now, enjoy some vodka with your centerfold.
