New Year, New You, New Intentions - Horoscopes for December 31 - January 6

New Year, New You, New Intentions - Horoscopes for December 31 - January 6

The stressful holiday get togethers are almost over, my babes! There’s only the New Year’s left and that involves alcohol, so at least you can be drunk. Anyway, you know anything involving alcohol doesn’t usually go well, but this New Year is going to be different. I promise. It’s going to start off with optimism (as usual), but this time you’re going to get sh*t done! We’ll all be laser focused on our goals and we’ll stay laser focused. For more than a week this time.

There’s a solar eclipse on Saturday that’ll leave a few of us feeling giddy. It’s time for those of us to use our dreams and turn them into concrete and attainable goals. How exciting! All it’ll take is a little hard work and perseverance. Ew, right?

Alright, ladies. You’ve slacked off enough; it’s time to get back to work. New Year’s is coming up and it’s time to get some serious goals going. Good thing you’ll be flooded with discipline and patience, so you might want to think about taking on some more difficult obligations. Just think about it: more opportunities for success! The solar eclipse on Saturday will have you fired up for a fresh start. It’s a perfect time to expand on projects you’re already working on and turn them into something new.

Now what? If any of this taking on new opportunities stuff feels like it’s getting overwhelming, don’t be afraid to take a step back and pick a new goal. You don’t have to abandon the one you’re working on; just set it aside. You can always come back to it later.

If any of your relationships had to endure some tense situations this holiday season, now’s the time to handle them. Aquarius babes will have the patience and strength to handle any issues that come your way. And that doesn’t mean it has to be yours. Lend your ear to those who might need it. Just trust your instincts and remember that traditional values can provide modern answers.

Now what? As for your relationship, if you’re not feeling tense with each other, a non-verbal understanding can have you feeling closer than ever. Not everything needs to be said aloud, and a big self-esteem boost can result for both of you.

Hope you have some New Year’s goals planned out already, because you’re about to be hit with a major boost in work ethic. You’re ready to knock it out of the park with real results and not a lot of screw ups (now there’s something to brag about). So, don’t be afraid to take on big tasks that look scary on the outside. All you have to do is look at it in a practical way and you’re all set.

Now what? This solar eclipse is here to turn your dreams into reality. Any big long-term goals you’ve had in mind for a while are yours for the taking. You’re in the mood to tackle the big stuff. Go get ‘em, tiger.

The good news is that you’ll have plenty of energy this week. But because Mars is the reason you’re getting it, that energy might manifest itself through irritation. The way to get through it is to apply yourself to positive projects. Try something new. Trust your intuition and get out there and meet new people. Open yourself to change and stimulating conversations.

Now what? If you’re feeling that the meeting new people route isn’t giving you the satisfaction you’re looking for, try something different in the bedroom. Like being a little more physical. Go rough house a little. I’ll leave it at that.

You’ll be so focused on your goals that you might be afraid that the other areas of your life will suffer. Don’t worry, babe. You’ve got such a strong work ethic that you can handle anything. Just remember that if you feel stressed out, your elders are here to help. They’ve been through the same things you have and they can help you out.

Now what? Ever think about being a businesswoman? This solar eclipse is encouraging you to do just that. It doesn’t have to be a huge corporation (who has time for that anyway?), but you can turn a little project of yours into a little profit. Ka-ching!

Your work ethic might be fighting with reckless abandon this week, Gemini. It’ll be hard to balance when you need to work and when you can play. All you need is a little self-reliance and the respect of others to kick you back into gear. If you have someone else relying on you to get the job done, you might be more inclined to whip your moods into shape.

Now what? Connect with people from different backgrounds. You can do this by taking detours on your daily routes. Don’t be afraid to speak up; they’ll love your thought-provoking ideas and witty sense of humor.

People or circumstances can have you feeling caged in. But don’t isolate yourself because that can create unwanted distance in your relationships. There could be a miscommunication in what you both want. Use your ability to read people to know what the other person needs and don’t force what you think is best.

Now what? Once you figure out what your partner needs, you might not need to discuss it with them. Trust what you know and give that person what they need. It’ll be a sweet gesture on your part and bring you closer together.

You and your Gemini besties will be walking the same tightrope this week. You’ll find it hard to balance your energies, but all you need to do is focus on your career. All you need is achievement to get the taste of what times are for work and what times are for play. Dreams may give you insight and creative breakthroughs. You’ll be able to see in greater detail and come up with creative, original ideas.

Now what? A good way to generate new ideas is to look at the world through a different lens. Try to think of a situation the way someone from a completely different person would. Maybe someone who has a disadvantage to that situation. Get those gears turning.

You’ll be real excited about your goals, Virgo. From the moment you begin, you’ll get plenty of recognition and positive outcomes. Now’s a good time to start on long-term goals, so you can pump up your work ethic. Your only job is to focus on your goals and the rest of your life will follow.

Now what? The solar eclipse will put a poetic spin on your weekend. Now’s the perfect time to start and expand on your creative projects. Get in your happy place and draw, paint, or write away.

You hate responsibilities and you always will, right? Well, if they have you feeling caged in, you’ll have to put your character to the test. If you don’t handle your responsibilities now, they can come back to bite you in the ass later. And hard. You might need to put your needs and others aside to get the job done.

Now what? You’ll finally understand your place in the world thanks to your increased sense of empathy. It’s time to realize that sometimes your goals and needs need to come before others. And that’s okay.

Welcome to adulthood, the kids are asking you for advice! You’ve got all your goals under wraps, so that means you’ll have sound advice to give to the young’uns. And if you’re feeling nervous about guiding the future generations, just be honest. If you don’t know the answer, say so. You’ll gain more respect by being honest.

Now what? Use this solar eclipse to turn your side projects into business ideas. Don’t worry about failure. Just worry about not being able to keep up with the success.

Get your teeth out, Sag, because you could be feeling a tad protective of your family and friends. They know you’re always looking out for them, so show them you care in concrete ways. Give them treats, a place to crash, or a shoulder to lean on when times get tough. This will bond you closer than being touchy and mushy will. Sometimes you need to be the rock and the foundation.

Now what? You and your SO can benefit from a shared vision, so it might be time to have that talk with your special someone. It doesn’t have to be a serious talk; as long as you know you’re both headed in a similar direction.
