Why Every Girl Must Have a Pair of Levi’s Denim In Their Closet

710s, 501s — product identifiers that differentiate the different styles and fit made by the denim brand, Levi’s. Coming in various styles such as the super skinny, the slims, the straights and many more, for over 150 years, Levi’s has dominated the denim world. When it comes to this classic brand, you have to say you own at least one pair, right? If not, what kind of denim do you own, girl?! Whether you’re dressing up or dressing down, Levi’s has got you covered with every style they’ve got. With flattering fits, meticulous cuts, and budget-friendly prices, you can’t go wrong once you have found your pair.

It all started with the 501. In the 1800s, Levi Strauss designed blue jeans as strong pants for working men; however, little did Strauss know, it was an ever-growing brand. The 501 Original started out as a great classic pair of jeans for men and is now expanding. Women are able to own a pair of 501, new and vintage (many thrifted 501s make great high-waisted shorts!). This fit is complemented with a straight leg and can be paired with a good ol’ white tee and some sneakers. If you want a more relaxed fit, you would go for the 518s, which are low-rise, relaxed fit. This denim features a slimmer silhouette through the hip and gives a very sophisticated look. Pair it up with your favorite heels and take them out for the night. Aside from jeans, Levi’s is also known for their high-quality denim jackets. Since the brand has grown over the last century, many different washes have come about as well. Whether you want a washed indigo or a pair of white jeans, Levi’s has it all.
