Follow This Exact Skincare Application Order for Permanently Flawless, Clear, Healthy Skin

First of all let’s just acknowledge the fact that the beauty industry is out to destroy our pockets. Every time you look up all the brands are launching a new product. To be more specific skincare has definitely been on the rise with the whole no makeup makeup trend taking over you want to put your best face forward. There are so many skincare products on the market these days it’s hard to know when to use what. Listen up because we are going to solve this right now.

Step 1: Makeup Remover

If you wear makeup, it is mandatory that you remove before you begin your skincare. Just washing your face is not good enough. You want to be sure all the makeup is off and you aren’t further rubbing it into your pores. My favorite method is a makeup wipe. Either way just make sure you are doing it. (click images to shop)

Step 2: Cleanser

Now you can wash your face. A new trend is double cleansing, which I can vouch for. I know it may seem like a lot, but my skin has never been more clear since I started double cleansing. Proof that we are leaving more dirt on our faces than we think.

Step 3: Mask

If you are doing a mask, it’s best to do after you cleanse. This way your pores are still open to receiving a good cleaning. Plus, If you apply after serums, creams, etc, you will just be washing that all away when you remove the mask. (click images to shop)

Step 4: Toner

Toning is my favorite part because I’m taking off any residual residue. Trust, you think your face is clean until you use a toner. This is another step that helped me clear up my skin quickly. Try to find something that is effecting yet not too harsh on your skin. (click images to shop)

Step 5: Serums

After your toner, you will want to start layering from lightest to heaviest. Anything that will sink in and absorb right away you can add first and go from there. Serums are a great way to address any specific skin concerns you may have from acne to anti aging. This is also the step I would splurge on. (click images to shop)

Step 6: Moisturizer

You’ve made it to the end. Now don’t skip a moisturizer even if you have oily skin. Lack of moisture is the cause of so many skin issues. If you are on the oily/combination side, there are so many good gell options that absorb quickly. I personally opt for a dry oil. (click images to shop)
