Babe On The Go: 10 Beauty Must Haves We're Obsessed With
Since moving to New York last fall, a lot of my routines have changed. But the one with most noticeable difference has been my beauty routine. In such a fast paced city I need products that are easy, quick, and no hassle. Not only do they need to be easy, but also inexpensive. The difference in cost of living is real people, so I want something that will be softer on my pockets. So, for my babes on the go, here are my current beauty obsessions all under $10!
Mario Badescu Facial Spray $5
This is hands down a must that has always been in rotation for me. When I’m heading out for drinks or leaving a spin class, my face gets a spritz of this. It works well over makeup and on a bare face and refreshes you instantly.
C.O. Bigelow My Favorite Night Balm No. 306 $7.50
I’ve been using this product since I was 16 and I don’t plan to stop any time soon. Its clear so no worry about perfecting application. And it can be worn day or night as a clear gloss or night time treatment. My favorite part? The minty fresh scent.
ColourPop No Filter Sheer Matte Pressed Powder $9
I like to carry a pressed powder with me, especially in the summer for touch ups. This one is the right amount of sheerness and color. A finished looked that is not cakey is the goal.
Goodwipes Down There Wipes
Goodwipes Down There Wipes for Gals $3.99 (Down There Wipes for Gals V.FRESH is available NOW at your local CVS!)
Something no one likes to talk about is your hygiene down there. In the summer it can get super questionable if you aren’t looking after your lady parts. I like to carry some kind of wipe with me to keep fresh all day long.

While we are on hygiene, let’s talk about the rest of the body. For those days when you’ve been out all day or had to run for the train and broke a sweat. A wipe to clean up a bit never hurt and will make you feel so much better.
Batiste Dry Shampoo $3.99
Any time I straighten my hair, dry shampoo is my best friend. In between washes you will need something to quickly absorb oils and moisture. And this small size is good for travel or keeping at your desk.
Sephora Cleansing & Exfoliating Wipes $8
These stay in my gym bag. When I’m running from work to spin I only have time to change quickly and run out. Two swipes of these and all my makeup is off. And the coconut smell is divine.
Tarte Creaseless Undereye Concealer
Tarte Creaseless Under Eye Concealer $10
When I saw these I snapped up 2; one for my travel bag and another to keep at work. This formula is amazing and now I can have it on the go.
Nivea Creme $.99
Another product I’ve been using since my teens. I always have a tin of this in my purse in case I run into any dryness. The formula is so moisturizing, and it smells so good. Plus, I just love the retro packaging.
Ulta Freshwater Mist Hand Sanitizer $2
You will never ever ever catch me without hand sanitizer. It’s a necessity living in a city like New York. Any one will do really.
