Rihanna Collaborates With Amina Muaddi For New FENTY Footwear Collection

By Claudia Langella

Fenty just launched a capsule shoe collection that Cinderella herself would envy. The singer-turned-designer tapped Jordan-based footwear mogul Amina Muaddi for this new line to bring a feminie touch to the Fenty brand.

Muaddi is known for her sky high stilettos that wrap around the calves of  fashion elite—Queen RiRi included. For the Fenty collab titled “7-20,” Muaddi wanted to create footwear that the Fenty audience would wear, not just her own. To do so she kept Fenty’s target consumers in mind: “strong, refined and feminine.” And the entire collection just screams those adjectives!

Pops of color and nail-like heels definitely convey a strong character. The Caged In Sandals are uber fierce—perfect for both date night and a girls’ night out. Crystal straps and beautiful suede look great against any skin tone. So, if you’re looking to invest in a go-to strappy heel, try the Braid Me Up Sandals. The entire line starts at $490, so you’ll definitely want to keep these shoes around for a while.

Rihanna established the house of Fenty with a clear goal in mind: to work with a diverse community of creative talents. The Fenty x Amina Muaddi collection definitely checks off that goal, and we’re super happy about its end products. Rihanna is a powerful force, who’s shown that she can dominate multiple industries. She has always put inclusion at the forefront of her business endeavors—Savage X prioritizes size inclusivity and the Fenty Beauty line has long been heralded as one of the most inclusive brands in its market.

Jahleel Weaver, Fenty’s creative director, thinks the collaboration is a match made in heaven.

“They are both modern women designing for modern women. I think that connection is really, really important,” he told Vogue. “Obviously, Amina thinks about that with her designs in her line and Rihanna thinks about that in everything that she does. There’s something invaluable about women doing it for themselves. That is very important.”

Muaddi’s seven piece collection is live on Fenty’s website now, but only for a limited time. Elevate your summer look while you can!
