Is It Worth It, or Nah? Kylie Jenner Holiday Collection 2019
Kylie Jenner released her 2019 holiday collection and it’s jolly af. With red and white glittery packaging, this collection screams Christmas, so naturally, I, and the rest of the internet, wanted all of it.

Kylie’s collections sell out pretty quick, so I knew I had to get online as soon as it came out to snag what I wanted. After a stressful checkout, I came out with everything I wanted: the illuminating face spray, the blush and highlight duo, Coming to Town matte lipstick, and of course, the Naughty List matte liquid lip kit.
In the past, Kylie Cosmetics has come under fire for pretty horrible shipping. Trust Pilot, a customer service review site, rates the cosmetic brand a 1.8 stars out of 5. Ouch. Reading review after review of people never getting their order had me sweating. But Kylie came through (or well, her shipping people did) and told me my order was shipped and on its way to me a few days after I ordered.
But enough about shipping, let’s get into the good stuff. The packaging was seriously so freaking cute. There were even little Santa hats printed on the inside of the packaging. And while the glitter was festive, it got everywhere. It’s that craft glitter that just stays on your skin, so thank you Kylie Jenner for that. The other bad thing is as soon as I went to swatch the lip kit pencil, the tip broke off. Boo, you whore.
Everything in this collection was pretty on. The blush and highlighter duo is very light, so anyone with a medium skin and darker this product wouldn’t even show up, which is disappointing. The red was gorgeous, but not groundbreaking. I did like how the face spray made my face look, and it smelled like roses which was nice.
Bad news, good news. Bad news: this collection was limited edition. Good news: this collection isn’t anything “new” and is very easily dupable. You’ll also probably save money which is annoying for me but great for you! So, while you might’ve missed out on cute packaging, you’ll win by duping a similar look for less.
