Easy and Quick Christmas Morning Breakfast Recipes That Will Wow Your Family
It’s T-2 days until Christmas and chances are you’re freaking out about something. If you’re going to be having family over, let me take at least one thing off your plate (no pun intended). Breakfast is another great part of Christmas morning, but you don’t want to spend half the time cleaning up and missing out on family time. And of course, the breakfast has to wow your family.
These breakfast ideas are super easy, super quick, and require minimal clean up. Did I mention they also taste fricken amazing? No? Well, lucky for you, they do. With one sweet option, one salty option, and one where you can choose, you’re completely covered.
No Flip French Toast
No need to bust out a ton of mixing bowls for this recipe. Really, the hardest part is arranging the egg-soaked bread in a neat circle on the cast iron skillet. Pop it in the oven, and come back 20 minutes later to the easiest (and cleanest) French toast breakfast ever. Top with berries, powdered sugar, and maple syrup and enjoy! Get the recipe here.
Frittata Muffins
Who doesn’t love a good frittata? You can put any toppings in them and they’ll be delicious. Bacon, ham, cheese, bell pepper, broccoli, mushroom, spinach…the list truly goes on. And when you make them in muffins tins, it makes them even better. Get the recipe here.
Waffle Bar
This will definitely wow your family when they see this spread you made. Get waffle batter, make it according to the directions, pop it in the waffle maker and let it do all the work. While the waffles cook, set out bowls of toppings. For those with a sweet tooth, put out maple syrup, berries, whipped cream, chocolate chips. For a savory take, put out some ranch dressing, bacon crumbles and chives. Easy, and best of all, it makes everyone happy. Get the recipe here.
Rich ‘n’ Thick Hot Chocolate
So what do you serve to drink with breakfast? Hot chocolate, duh. You probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry, and it takes one pot to make. Not to mention, it blows powdered hot chocolate out of the water, so it’ll knock your family’s socks off. If it will be a 21-and-older breakfast with family, make it a grown-up version by whisking half a cup of Southern Comfort into the chocolate. Yum! Get the recipe here.
