Downtown Girl's Guide to Lower Manhattan Resale Shops
If you live in Manhattan, you know there’s a distinct difference between uptown and downtown. Everything from the architecture to the fashion has its own flare, and the designer resale offerings in the two parts of town are perfectly in sync with each locality’s unique landscape. I adore so much about both uptown and downtown New York and incorporate elements of each into my personal style. When I’m looking for something with a bit of polished ritziness, I hit up these designer resale shops on the Upper East Side. And when I’m feeling a bit more of my youthful grit, I hop on the 1 train and head to these shops...

This is the spot for curating hip street wear; audacious street style looks; and young, cool pieces from designers spanning Alexander Wang and Y3 to Chanel (curiously misspelled “Channel” on their website). The store is large and the selection massive, and they have everything from clothing and accessories to shoes and handbags. The customer service is definitely not top notch, but that can be overlooked for their wide assortment and great sale prices.
What Goes Around Comes Around
This. Place. Is. Amazing! Take a moment to check out the pics on Yelp. Crazy, right? It’s so huge and beautiful and stocks so much designer stuff. The curation of high-end bags is seriously dangerous. Plus, with both women’s and men’s sections, it’s a one-stop-shop for you and your dude. You can easily spend an hour in here, so grab a snack, get hydrated, and dig into those racks!!

I am seriously in love with this little shop. This is not luxury consignment; it’s a charming curated vintage and thrift boutique. With just two to three well-curated racks of clothing, it’s refreshingly quaint, so you won’t feel overwhelmed by the size of the store or an oversaturated selection. There’s a small handbag section, a couple of shoe shelves, and an assortment of adorable jewelry and accessories. Last time I was there I found four things I loved, including a gray angora beret for $9. Omg. So much love.
