Complete Guide To Epic, and Budget Friendly Bachelorette Party Destinations: West Coast Edition
Palm Springs, CA
Always warm and sunny, Palm Springs has an activity and restaurant for every bachelorette group.
Where to stay: Musicland Hotel Palm Springs / Caliente Tropics
For basic accommodations, and for a good price, Musicland Hotel Palm Springs is a good place to stay. Let’s be real, it’s not the cutest, but for a place to sleep it makes the perfect hub. Caliente Tropics Resort has bright rooms and is inspired by Polynesia, making it the perfect place for a hot getaway.
Where to eat/drink:
Palm Springs has the fix for every craving, whether it’s Italian, Japanese or American. But we’re going to suggest at least you do one Mexican night, because the Mexican is bomb there. Enjoy brunch on a sunny and colorful patio at Norma’s, head to El Jefe for tacos and tequila shots, and enjoy drinks and an unforgettable drag show at Toucan’s Tiki Lounge.
What to do:
Whether you’re a bride that wants to party and live it up, get down and dirty, or do a little of both, Palm Springs can handle it. If everyone chips in, then getting a cabana will be a snap and you and the girls can have a crazy fun pool day at The Saguaro. Or get dirty and go on an ATV Tour through the desert. If you’re there during the end of winter, beginning of spring, head over to the polo fields to watch a match. Sipping champagne and watching hot guys ride horses? Yes please.
Denver, CO
No matter the season, Denver is full of bachelorette party fun.
The Curtis Park Club offer chic rooms in a refined B&B style. Also, they have a roof terrace, so you can get a super cute picture of you and the party together which is ideal. The Moxy Denver Cherry Creek is a hip hotel with an amazing bar. Although this hotel isn’t downtown (although a 10 minute Uber away), it’s in Cherry Creek where the shopping is A1, so really, you can’t lose.
Where to eat/drink:
Snooze is the best place for brunch in Denver, hands down. With big glasses for mimosas and not a single bad dish on the menu, this place is worth waking up early for. Head to Sushi Den for the best sushi you’ve ever had. At night, head to the Roosevelt bar for classic and modern cocktails amongst bookshelves and typewriters.
What to do:
No matter the season, Denver will keep you and your girls entertained. In the summer, go on a beautiful hike in the mountains. In the winter, head up into those mountains to Breckenridge or Vail for some skiing and hot toddy drinking. No matter the season, head to Howl and the Moon for some dueling piano bar magic and sing to your favorite early 2000 songs with your besties.
Santa Barbara, CA
Where to stay:
Inn by the Harbor is a Spanish style inn that has cozy rooms and an outdoor pool. If you want to spend a little more, the Montecito Inn is a chic hotel built by Charlie Chaplin that also has a restaurant and pool.
Where to eat/drink:
Every bachelorette party needs a brunch date. So start it off right with a rooftop brunch at Finch & Fork. For delicious wood-fired pizzas and craft coffee, stop by Lucky Penny, and don’t forget to take an Instagram of you and the girls in front of their penny tiled wall! For the perfect girls night’ dinner, head to The Lark where they specialize in shared plates and incredible craft cocktails.
What to do:
You may not be in Napa, but that doesn’t mean you can’t go on an amazing wine tour. You’ll be shuttled to six wineries’ and you’ll have an outdoor lunch so you and the girls don’t get too crazy. After that, enjoy a relaxing spa day at Floating Luxury Spa. And of course, you can’t go to Santa Barbara without having a beach day!
Scottsdale, AZ
Heat things up a little by heading to Scottsdale before the bride gets hitched!
Where to stay:
While certainly not the most glamourous, Howard Johnson is going to be the cheapest hotel to stay at if you want to party it up with your girls in Scottsdale. But for being a hub to meet at and sleep at, this is a real winner. For better housing options, especially if your group is bigger, an Airbnb is going to be the best bet.
Where to eat/drink:
With so many hidden gems, there’s lots to discover in Scottsdale. Enjoy some comfort food at the open air RnR Gastropub. Satisfy your sweet tooth at the Sugar Bowl and enjoy a few sundaes with your girls. Then party the night away at the upscale bar, The Bevvy, known for its “rubber ducky shots.”
What to do:
Similar to Vegas, Scottsdale has a pretty poppin’ day scene. The Maya Dayclub is known as being the biggest Vegas-style pool party in Arizona, so if you’re bride was itching for Vegas style partying, you’re going to want to bring her here. If you want to test everyone’s (drunk) brain power, try an Escape Room with your party! And of course, don’t forget bar hopping in Old Town.
