Catwalk Inspo: LA Fashion Week Attendees Break Down Their Style and Vibe

Dress to impress wherever you go, but at LAFW, you dress to impress AND express. Hundreds of guests gathered here last week, to celebrate the various and diverse designers chosen to showcase their exquisite collections in LA Fashion Week this year at the Petersen Automotive Museum. From bright colored jumpsuits to statement accessory pieces, guests went all out to display their personal style and show their identity through fashion.

How does one make a bold statement? Just ask Miss Charlene (@charlenlaurent), who wore a pair of cobalt thigh-high boots, which tied together her entire outfit. Charlene expressed how much she loves fashion and is a blogger herself. Her personal style is a way for her to express herself and show people the mood she is in. From head-to-toe, Charlene was wearing black with a chic gold-chain belt along with her boots. Her blazer is from Neiman Marcus, mesh top from Urban Outfitters, shorts from Abercrombie, boots from Shoespie and bag from Tradesy. It goes to show that you can pair any outfit together from high-end brands to even the fast-fashion brands. Girl, you totally pulled it off!

As the night went on, many of the guests were wearing outfits that were very intriguing and admirable. Dressed all in white, this classy lady (@_edelmyra) made quite an impression on me. She wore an all white ensemble from the top to her matching skirt from NBD, and then topped it off with her all-white blazer with ruffled sleeves. This outfit screamed Fashion Week. For accessories, she had a small transparent purse from Revolve, which matched with her clear point-toe heels. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Christine (@lidoluuluu) went more casual and effortless. She had on a For Lovers and Friends off-the-shoulder top which showed enough skin but not too much, girl was working it! For her bottoms, she went with Artizia trousers, Just Fab boots and the Chloe Faye backpack to tie it all together. With the half high-ponytail, this look screamed boss lady!

What’s better to experience this night with your closest friend? These two girls walked into the event with such excitement and I knew I had to ask about their unique styles. Dena (@leowithcancer) and Ivy (@ivycoco23) were excited to show off their personal looks and informed me that both their blazers were thrifted. Love a good thrift find, right? Dena was wearing a gingham dress with lace detailing from Ikram Chicago with a Jacquemus and Staud purse (yes she had 2), tights from Gucci and shoes from Dr. Scholls. Her outfit screamed vintage luxury. Ivy wore a contrasting skirt from Motel Rocks and boots from Nordstrom. You could tell how fun a person is by looking at their outfits.

And that’s a wrap LA Fashion Week, until next year! A huge part of Fashion Week events are definitely seeing the looks people can put together off the runway. We get it, the fashion shows are the main event but the people attending are also one of the best parts, too. We’re all coming together to experience the same thing -- our love for fashion and art. It’s amazing to see how people express it, and show their individuality.
