Brands We Love: LoveShackFancy, Romancing Us Into Feminine Bliss

By Betti Halsell

As spring comes in full bloom and femininity is on the rise, one brand comes to mind that embodies the rose petal aesthetic surrounding this season. LoveShackFancy “embraces unabashed femminity,” in other words this vintage-inspired women's clothing brand is not afraid to embellish their lives with frills and lace.

The best of their brand can be found at OnFemme by Lindsey’s Kloset, there’s so much more to a woman’s wardrobe than the stereotypical gender based attraction, but one cannot ignore the fun they have in pink that's associated with femininity.

OnFemme carries this brand in hopes of promoting the whimsical side of womanhood, with silky silhouettes, soft saturations, and layered pieces, LoveShackFancy is the best in capturing the softer side of you.

Feminine power is sewn into every stitch, the fabrics are hand-dyed and fabricated with different variations of floral print.

Collecting LoveShackFancy pieces is like walking through a wild meadow and creating a bouquet of one’s favorite outfits with flattering silhouettes.

One can spot the “Acanthus” floral sequence in some of these collections; a larger scale print of the Acanthus flower with leaves and mixed-match patterns surrounding it. *Side note* That pattern was originally designed in 1874, no wonder it's so fitting for LoveShackFancy, see the beautiful designs on Onfemme by Lindsey’s Kloset.

With cotton fabrics coddling your curves and botanical eyelet embroidery, one will find themselves laying in the grass, taking a moment to smell the roses. Wearing LoveShackFancy is like being wrapped in a warm embrace, feeling safe in a familiar home, and letting out your true natural feminine voice.

Designer Rebecca Hessel Cohen lives for the ‘old-timey vibes,’ mixed in with pastel colorways, and the love for Victorian lace, and LoveShackFancy was created; a fashion forward love poem to the old world embarking on the new, modern styles.

The designer was recently featured in Martha Stuart Lifestyle blog; they did full coverage on her 10-year wedding anniversary; a “COVID-19 friendly” event she put together with her husband and she looked like a vintage dream.
