Beauty YouTube Sensation Jaclyn Hill Announces Cosmetic Line
YouTube beauty personality, Jaclyn Hill, is launching her own makeup line called ‘Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics’ on May 30th, 2019.
Hill started her career from humble beginnings as a freelance makeup artist at the MAC Cosmetics store. She is a big dreamer and wanted to launch her own line one day. Once Hill began her YouTube Channel in 2011, she quickly gained traction with her in-depth knowledge and energetic personality. She is best known for her celebrity makeup tutorials. By April 2019, she hit 5.8 million subscribers on her channel.
Her dream to launch her own makeup line has finally come to fruition. The 1st wave of the ‘Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics’ launch is going to be a total of 20 nude lip colors. Hill says when she thinks of makeup, she thinks of lipstick. She is going to start with the basics and build to other color palettes and products, so that you can gain trust in the product and the brand overtime.
Some ingredients in the product include murumuru butter, shea butter & mango butter. Hill states that your lips will feel nicer after taking the product off. The formula is somewhere between shiny and matte. And yes, these lipsticks are cruelty-free, vegan and made in the USA!
As you may notice from her YouTube announcement video, a lot of the colors are similar. Hill states that she did this because she noticed that brands would launch their lipstick colors and only have 1 or 2 nudes total. She wants to make sure that nudes were definitely spoken for with ‘Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics.’ She knows that nudes are for an everyday look and wanted to deliver to you your new favorite go-to lipsticks
A single lipstick will be $18. A lip trio is $48. The entire ‘Power Nude Collection’ is going to cost $295.
