Strangers in Paradise - Married at First Sight: Episode 4 Recap
On this week’s episode of Married at First Sight the couples started their honeymoons. Two of the couples continued to grow their relationship, whereas two of them experienced their first conflicts as a married couple. In Jasmine’s original interview on the first episode she came off as a very confident woman who has taken care of herself thus far. However, her honeymoon with her husband Will, was off to a rocky start. While having some fun on ATV’s Jasmine lost control and crashed hers, she was fuming that Will didn’t protect or try to help her. Obviously, he couldn’t stop the ATV from going off track, but watching him sit there while she struggled to get it back on track, was pretty painful. The vibe didn’t really get back on track when Will informed Jasmine that he expected her to pay half of the bills. Jasmine was under the impression that he would be carrying the financial burden in their marriage since he IS the man after all. She thought that a clean house and meal on the table would compensate for her half of the bills…. feminists around the globe were fuming at her ideals of marriage. C’mon girl are you living in the 1800’s?!? This is going to cause some serious issues for them in the future.
Stephanie and AJ gave everyone a sigh of relief as they have a goofy and fun relationship. Stephanie was a bit apprehensive when it came to him because of his BUBBLY personality. But, during the honeymoon they seemed to really grow on one another. They were the first couple who did the nasty during their honeymoon. They both described it as “easy and natural”. This is great seeing, as physical attraction plays a huge role in this experiment. It seems like this couple is doing well, and adorable, hilarious babies will definitely be in their future. Their openness and optimism may have to do with their age, as they are the oldest couple on the show.
Kristine and Keith could not keep their hands off of each other during the ceremony and reception, it didn’t even seem like they were strangers. Keith seems like the guy that most girls dream about as he is willing to do anything for his wife, despite only knowing her for a short time. Kristine can’t stop smiling like a little school girl with a crush whenever she is around her husband, so the feeling is definitely mutual. However, the real test of their bond will be when they return to real life, considering they are both self-declared, spoiled brats when it comes to day to day life.

Lastly, the most awkward couple on the show who can’t seem to get their groove down, Kate and Luke. Luke is one of the most awkward men to ever exist. He wouldn’t be able to read a signal if it hit him in the face. Kate has basically been begging her husband for affection since she met him, and he doesn’t really seem to notice, or maybe even care. When they met up with the other couples, Kate started to realize how affectionate they all were with one another. This hurt her feelings a bit and when she expressed this to Luke he basically told her it wasn’t going to happen, at least not yet. After marrying Kate and going on a honeymoon with her he is still not comfortable enough to kiss her… will he be ready to make a decision about their marriage in just seven weeks?!
