Vans Collaborates With Breast Cancer Charity To Bring Awareness To Our Health
As women, it is important that our health doesn’t take the backseat in our every-day life. So, when you have charities such as CoppaFeel! and Vans teaming up together for breast to shed light on women’s health, it’s a beautiful thing . The comfortable footwear brand and English breast cancer charity gave us a glimpse into their new line inspired by Breast Cancer Awareness Month reminding us that “we got this “ and we will remain educated on our well-being.
Moreover , in a press release the new collaborative line will highlight the principles of the CoppaFeel! agenda “ educating the youth on why they need to check their breasts for early detection”.
Below are the four pairs of shoes and descriptions about what to look for in the limited-edition line!
All shoes to be released on October 1, 2019. Shop here.
1.Slip-On Design Checkerboard
The checkerboard slip-on is set to come in a variety of skin tone colors, and checkers. Varieties of breast sizes adorned on the midsole, as well as nipples and scars featured on the heel of the shoe juxtapose the simplistic checker pattern.
Slip-On Design You Got This
The slip-on black colorway has the slogan “YOU GOT THIS” on the toe area all in an array of neutral, skintone colors. The o’s in the phrase closely resembles breasts.
2.Vans Slides
The slides come in a cream colorway that has the same topless women illustration as the Sk8-hi classic van shoe style.
3. Era Creams
The cream-colored shoe will have a cobalt blue printed design on it showcasing women in the different stages of breast examinations. CoppaFeel!’s main goal is expressed here in providing education to women to be aware of the signs that there can be abnormalities in their breasts and that self-care is a necessary measure.
4. Sk8-hi
The black based and white soled shoe is something to be reckoned with as there is a hand painted ( yes , hand painted!) cluster of topless women all varying in breast size and shape. You can even see a painted- women with scars on her chest from surgery showing the implications cancer can have on the body.
$200,000 USD of the proceeds will be donated to charity to help women garner more knowledge of their bodies . The collection is set to arrive October 1st on the US Vans store. Consider getting yourself some shoes, learning or donating to breast cancer awareness on the CoppaFeel! Site !
