Trend Alert: Headbands Will be the "It" Accessory of Fall 2019
As we can tell, I’m ready for fall. Not just to get a break from this sweltering city summer, but for the clothes. If you ask me, and the fashion business, fall is the real start of the year for us. And although I am ready for all the layers, scarves, and yes pumpkin spice anything, what I’m really ready for is headbands. In the past few seasons we have seen a surge in hair accessories, and the one that has sparked my interest the most are headbands.

I’m not talking about the hard-plastic headbands your mom shoved in your hair when you were a kid. And no, we aren’t thinking Blair Waldorf either. Think something a bit more chic, if I do say so myself. The trend first caught my eye when Prada featured headbands on their Spring 2019 runway. Oversized, padded, and almost a hint of 80’s in there. And if the oversized look isn’t for you don’t worry. I’m seeing a resurgence for simpler styles as well. I’m not sure about you but that’s more than I’m willing to pay for any hair accessory. Here are some inexpensive options with a luxe look:
