These Jewelry Trends are Taking over Summer 2019

It is something about the summer months that always makes me want to pull my hair up high and pile on all the jewelry I can. I feel like in the past 2 – 3 years jewelry has become a necessary accessory amplifying everyone’s wardrobe. And the good options are much more accessible. You can buy high-end real baubles or hit up the internet to find good quality at a decent price.

Right now, there are a few trends that are reigning supreme. I am sure you have seen these on your favorite celebrities and influencers recently. Here is where you can get the goods:

Rainbow Gems

This isn’t the primary colored jewelry you rocked as a kid. To avoid this trend looking cheap I’d splurge on a key everyday piece. Last Line LA is a brand that is doing this trend right and making it wearable.

Anklets

I wore anklets (& toe rings) so much in my teenage years so I’m happy to see them coming back around. Unlike the rainbow trend, I don’t think a splurge is necessary to make this look good. If you plan to wear every day, a pricier piece would be the obvious option. Stack them up or wear alone.

Pearls

Now is your time to be the girl with the pearl earring…or necklace, or bracelet. A look that used to be reserved for our grandmas has been transformed. Think irregular shapes and lots of gold hardware. I would stick to one pear item at a time though to avoid overkill.

Mixed Metals

I used to strictly only wear one metal at a time. Now that I have more everyday pieces, I find that they tend to look best when mixed together. I would definitely suggest mixing with more delicate pieces versus bigger statement jewelry. You want to give off the subtle pulled together, but I don’t care vibe.
