The High End Beauty Products Definitely Worth Throwing Your Money On!

Is it just me or do most beauty products seem like they’re high end these days? Of course you still have your drugstore makeup, which has some gems don’t get me wrong. But more often than not, I see “Available at Sephora.” When reading about new products. And if you’ve been into Sephora you know 2 products can easily send you over $100. So what is worth it and whats not? That’s right, I’m here again to let you know where to splurge.

Fenty Beauty Concealer

If there is one beauty product I can’t live without its concealer. The wonders a good one can work goes without saying. When Rihanna announced she was launching a concealer FINALLY, because to be honest I was not super excited about the foundations, I was beyond thrilled. And it lived up to the hype. Its medium coverage but very buildable. Easy to blend. Lightweight on your skin. It’s really just a dream and perfect for everyday wear.

Laura Mercier Setting Powder

I might love this product equally as much as Fenty’s Concealer. This is a super lightweight powder that doesn’t leave a white cast, which is key for us brown girls. It’s also milled super fine so you get extra-long wear out of it. My makeup always looks so finished when I use this. Also, it comes in two shades, translucent & deep, to match deep skin tones.

Huda Obsessions Palettes

Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette, $27

Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette, $27

I’m not one to shy away from a good eyeshadow palette, but have you seen the price of them lately? You could buy like a Fitbit or something as much as these things cost. That is why I love Huda Beauty’s Obsessions Palettes. A small but mighty little palette of 9 shadows centered around a certain color. At $25 you are really getting a steal with how pigmented these shades are and the amount of looks you can do. My favorite is Warm Brown Obsessions because it’s the perfect set of neutral shades.

Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Mascara

Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, $26

Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, $26

If you put a false lash in front of me, I would not be able to get it on to save my life. But I can work some mascara into making you think I have on falsies. This mascara is so good though you do not even have to work it that much. It adds major volume and really fluffs up your lash line. And give a little to your lower lashes too, thank me later.

Dior Addict Ultra Lip Gloss

Dior Addict Ultra Gloss $30

Dior Addict Ultra Gloss $30

Ok, so lip gloss is lip gloss right? But you know when you find one that is just the right consistency? Just the right color. Just the right amount of shimmer. And the packaging makes you want to display it. That what this gloss does for me. My favorite shade is Diorama because it’s the perfect nude pink for me. And the brush applicator. I love a gloss with a brush applicator.
