Kobe Bryant and Daughter Killed in Helicopter Crash

We have lost a legend today. Earlier this morning (Sunday, January 26), Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna (Gigi), and three others were confirmed dead in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. TMZ first reported the story, saying that Vanessa Bryant, Kobe’s wife, was not among those on board. 

The group were headed toward the Mamba Academy for basketball practice when a fire broke out, causing the helicopter to crash. Emergency personnel responded, but no one on board survived the crash.

Kobe Bryant is survived by his wife, Vanessa, and three daughters, Natalia, Bianca, and newborn Capri.
