This brand has always been ahead of its time, designer Amanda Thomas became her own boss at the age of 14 and her brand never stopped growing. Traveling back in time, Thomas started reconstructing jewelry as an after school hobby, and by her senior year of highschool, she had a full blown business. Thomas did everything needed to groom herself to be the designer that she is today, she interned for a local designer to learn the intricate details of accessory construction.
As fate would have it, Thomas ran into a buyer from Fred Segal and she took a liking to Thomas’ custom pieces. The buyer ended up taking her first completed collection and fashion history was made. Labeling the brand after Thomas’ signature nickname, LuvAJ was born.
Thomas went on to Otis college of Art and Design, and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design. Thomas sharpened her eye for fashion with designer Rachel Pally, celebrity stylist Christina Erhlich, and also worked as an graphic design intern at Who What Wear ( also available to shop at OnFemme).
The brand is celebrating 18 years and counting, of dominance in the glitz and glamour world of accessories.The fashion forward accessory brand carries dainty and sleek pieces, to chunky boho-chic finishings. LuvAj carries earrings, necklaces, rings, belts and body chains, earcuffs, bracelets, and anklets. The brand is allergy conscious, and makes sure the hardware is hypoallergenic, using materials that are nickel and cadmium free.

Amanda prides herself on quality, majority of her jewerly is allergy conscious, and does not include nickel in the hardware.
