Glossier Gives Shoppers A Whole New Experience With Nordstrom Collaboration

“No make-up makeup”— what comes across your mind when people say that? If it’s not Glossier, you’ve been doing everything wrong. The famous beauty company is known for their millennial-pink packaging (yes anyone can do that, but it’s the way Glossier has learned how to market to its consumers that has made them so successful). Yes, it is simply a beauty brand; however, it’s not just another ordinary beauty brand, it’s a lifestyle for most millennials. Whether you’re using the Boy Brow to make your brows fuller and thicker or the Balm Dotcom to hydrate your lips, Glossier is a brand that is really worth the hype and they are definitely top shelf items.

The only downside about it is, most consumers don’t really have the options of going to the actual store, given its limited amount of brick and mortar locations. Therefore, most of the time, the brand’s fanbase are ordering their products online instead of getting the “Glossier” experience. However, things are about to change—the brand is now launching a partnership with department store, Nordstrom.

You Fragrance 1.7 oz , $60

You Fragrance 1.7 oz , $60

Starting out with only selling the “You” fragrance by Glossier, Nordstrom intends to utilize this partnership to help the brand sell more of their perfume. From December 3rd to February 16th, Glossier will be temporarily opening up pop-up shops within 7 of Nordstrom’s stores. The “You” perfume features “an addictive musk, with earthy iris root and spicy pink pepper” which leaves you wanting more. The fragrance adapts to one’s skin chemistry to create the “ultimate personal fragrance”. Not only is this one of my personal favorite fragrances, but this item has become of the highest rated products on Glossier.com. Bringing a piece of Glossier to Nordstrom will definitely change the game. Introducing this unique fragrance to a different clientele will bring in new sales and potentially bring more of Glossier’s products to Nordstrom and actually have them permanently.
