February arrives with a slower pace, which we will welcome. Anybody out there feeling COVID burnout or is it just me? Mercury Retrograde begins right at the beginning of the month and will take place until the 20th. This takes place in Aquarius, which means we’ll be able to reconnect with old friends, pals, or people in our networks. Retrogrades often make us collectively ~groan~ but there’s a little known fact that you can use to your advantage and you can say you heard it here first! Mercury is the planet of communication and the mind so it obviously holds ties to business, work, technology, and all that jazz. Whenever our cosmic messenger is moving backward in the sky, he causes a ruckus and we have all sorts of breakdowns in our connections and schedules. Yet, with some cancellations likely to take place, this may free your schedule up for a bit more chillaxing and fun—especially with your pals or old crew if you reach out now! While going on an elaborate vacation isn’t favored now (and come on, let’s acknowledge we aren’t out of the pandemic yet), this would be the perf time to take some time off from work and enjoy a staycation. While everyone else is losing their mind on the job, you can happily reply all with an away message like: “Thanks for your email, but I’m out of office till the 20th! Holla at my coworkers!” This way you’ll avoid all the dramz altogether!
