Danielle Bernstein Launches 'We Gave What' to Support Small Businesses and Charities

Danielle Bernstein is a social media powerhouse. With over 2 million people keeping up with her ootd posts and other lifestyle recommendations, it’s no wonder she’s grown her brand in other ways over the years. Just last year she launched MOE Assist, a digital management tool for influencers, and has been designing swimwear collections for a few seasons. In a time so unprecedented for the average person (read, the kind who doesn’t have millions of followers on Instagram), Bernstein is using her platform to help out those who need it the most. Enter the We Gave What platform!

The We Gave What Instagram page launched back in April and it seems like there are still more initiatives in the works. But for now, the We Gave What team is shining light on small businesses and other influencers who are giving back to charities during this pandemic. It’s nice to have a destination like this that rounds up the ways that followers can help support those in need. Whether you’re looking for a new foundation to donate to, or for a new small batch beverage company to support. We Gave What is the page you should be scrolling through.

“You have built an incredible community and have a powerful platform—now more than ever, we need to use our following for good,” Bernstein said in an Instagram post to her fellow influencers. She encourages influencers to post about communities and organizations that need the most help. “One mention can make a massive difference for someone that doesn’t have our audience.”

Check out We Gave What here and give what you can. Every penny or purchase makes a difference during these specific trying times—and all the other ones, too.
