Stagnant Marriages Gone Wild: Married At First Sight Episode 8 Recap
Well it looks like there is trouble in paradise for everyone on this week’s episode, except for Will and Jasmine. It is only fair that the other couple’s take some of the negative vibes since Jasmine and Will have been stuck in the friend zone for basically the entire show. They still have not had sex and are both pretty frustrated. To break the ice, they played a little game which revealed that Will is a bit freakier then he has let on. His fantasy ended up being a librarian, not what we would have guessed, but to each his own. Although Jasmine shamed him a bit she eventually agreed to try it out, and see if it increases their intimacy a bit.
Kristine and Keith have basically been in the honeymoon phase since they met. However, when they did a trust exercise that required them to look through each other’s phones, everything came to a sudden halt. Kristine found that Keith had been harboring some,…. we will just say indecent photos of his ex-girlfriend. It seems like he may not be as over his ex as he once believed... Of course, this led to Kristine questioning everything and feeling insecure. Hopefully she realizes the Queen that she is and tells this man he needs to shape up or ship out.
AJ grows a bit more concerning every week as it seems like just the smallest inconvenience can set him off. This week his fit of rage was simply because he didn’t get his food on time. If he doesn’t get his hanger, and just about every other emotion, under control then he may lose Stephanie for good. Although they make a good team Stephanie admitted that she would not be able to deal with his anger long term. We knew AJ was too good to be true....
And once again Luke makes himself out to be the biggest asshole on the show. He decided that it was his place to go behind his WIFE’s back to discuss his concerns with the producers about HER drinking. First off dude maybe she is drinking because her husband repeatedly offends her and will not even give her the time of day. Second off, why would you not talk to her first instead of going behind his back. Luke seems to be a master manipulator because when he was confronted by Kate he pulled on her emotions and told her he acted this way because he lost a friend to a drunk driver. The future for this marriage seems bleak, and tbh we hope Kate comes to her senses and leaves him in the dust.
